Webinar Description: 

This presentation will discuss the federal grants funding landscape for institutes of higher education for projects focused on student learning, workforce development, and faculty research. We will review agencies that fund these types of projects, as well as specific grant programs and examples of previously funded projects. We will also explore ways to formalize grant seeking (and grant seeking policy) within the institution to maximize opportunities. This will be a formal presentation with opportunities for Q&A throughout. Applicants will be provided with an electronic copy of summary information on all grant programs discussed.


Presenter
Liz Shay is a Senior Grants Development Consultant for Grants Office LLC and leads the higher education team. She supports colleges & universities, workforce training entities, and non-profit organizations to find and apply for relevant grant funding opportunities. With over 10 years of experience within higher education, she has worked with a variety of grant programs – from federal funds like the NSF to small community foundations.
