Grant Writer-Evaluator partnerships can expand the range of grants you can write and win, demonstrate to your clients that you are a connecting resource, and improve the quality of data you can use in future applications. But, creating such a partnership can be challenging, particularly when you as the grant writer are largely accountable for on-time submission and success of grant applications.

In this webinar, I will share specific tips and methods for explaining to clients the benefits of working with an external evaluator (or just doing internal data collection, if budget constraints are an issue) during and after the grant writing process, how to find the right evaluation consultants, and how to work with them effectively. These include how to: set up clear channels of communication, ensure both consultants are clear about deadlines, share information about client approaches and expectations, work together in shared documents, understand who will be doing what and when, discussing the tone of applications, and other topics.
