Description

Description:

The U.S. government is the largest funder of grants in the world, disbursing more than $1 trillion in grant funding last year. Federal grants offer large-dollar, multi-year funding that transforms organizations and amplifies impact. But all that funding comes with concerns around limiting fraud, waste, and abuse, lots of processes to assure compliance, and lots of administrative burden. Understanding who all of the key grant stakeholders are and what roles and responsibilities they have throughout the full grants lifecycle is an essential part of navigating federal grants. After attending this session, you will fully understand the roles and responsibilities of each key stakeholder at each stage of the grants lifecycle. Learn what to expect and what is expected of you throughout the grant process before embarking on your federal grants journey.

Grants 101 – Learning to Navigate the Federal Grants Process provides an introduction to federal grants, including types of grants, key stakeholders, and the grants life cycle. Whether you're new to federal awards or a veteran who’s been around the block a few times, you're guaranteed to learn something from this presentation!
