This session addresses key grant management requirements for recipients of ARPA State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the perspective of recipients’ legal obligations and presenters’ experience assisting local governments in designing and implementing federally-funded activities in the FRF program as well as providing counsel and legal representation to grantees in major federal assistance programs.
Presenters:
Mr. Escoriaza is senior counsel with the Washington, DC law firm of Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP. A former General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs at the University of Puerto Rico, Phillip’s bilingual, nationwide practice serves counties, municipalities and local government agencies, community health centers, non-profit organizations, and other federal grantees.
Mr. Sheffler is a partner with the Washington, DC law firm of Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP and has extensive experience in the areas of federal grant law, government contract law, and health care law. He leverages this experience to provide practical and comprehensive solutions in complex compliance regulatory environments.
