Description

GPA's Publications Committee will offer an overview of the GPA Grant News, Strategy Papers, and Journals, as well as how articles are solicited and acquired. The session will review strategies for developing an article, writing a manuscript, receiving and incorporating reviewer feedback, and editing and finalizing a published work. The session will also share how GPA's double-blind peer review process works and share strategies for providing critical, constructive feedback as a peer reviewer in a scholarly article.

Benefits: Grant professionals enhance their research, writing, and critical review skills in a new context, expand knowledge, and gain visibility as published authors. They contribute to an ongoing conversation about best practices in the grants profession, contribute to a scholarly community, and advance the profession.
