Part of the fear is moving into the unknown and taking a giant risk that may impact both your professional and personal life, as well as the lives of loved ones. After attending this workshop, you will have an understanding of what Mr. Scala and most grant professionals experience when starting a consulting business and how you can best prepare for the transition. You will come away from the workshop with an increased knowledge of the multiple, early issues that face individuals who are interested in becoming consultants.

Presenter:

Scot Scala, GPC, M.Ed., and GPA Approved Trainer, has been a grants and fund development professional since 1987. He is President and Senior Consultant of Scala & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in providing services to nonprofit organizations. With offices in Avon, CT and Fort Lauderdale, FL, the firm provides expertise in grant funding research and proposal design, board training and education, fund development planning, and capacity building.
