Description

The Nonprofit Management Essentials from the Nonprofit Leadership Center at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University provides free online learning experiences for nonprofit professionals. This facilitated cohort will utilize the video trainings of the program but allow for more in-depth analysis and learning through dialog, group facilitation, and personal study. These video trainings are available free of charge through the Allstate Foundation and can be watched ahead of time, or simply viewed in this session. They are each a short introduction to the topic presented by a Kellogg School professor. The bulk of the session will be facilitated by a Nonprofit Management Essentials trained facilitator. Through the session, participants will learn important skills, be able to apply knowledge to their respective situations, ask questions and process information related to nonprofit management topics, and share a camaraderie with fellow cohort participants.

Through these presentations, participants will improve skills, process information, gain knowledge and understanding, and challenge misconceptions of nonprofit leadership.  Specifically in regards to the topics presented, participants will be able to identify key topics, themes, and vocabulary; improve knowledge and understanding of key documents, processes, and processes; and be able to share their learnings with colleagues upon completion.

These presentations are not part of any certificate or degree seeking program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and are presented via video delivery with on-site live facilitation. Made possible by the generous support of the Allstate Foundation.
