Webinar Description:
Since ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) and related federal spending bill were approved, nearly $2 trillion in federal funding was available to state and local governments through discretionary grant opportunities. What transpired is that many recipients were awarded huge amounts of funding but lack the resources, awareness, and expertise to appropriately manage these funds. One of the most common Single Audit Act findings and a huge compliance issue is subrecipient monitoring. How can recipients appropriately manage funds? What are the critical considerations regarding subrecipient partnerships? How are subrecipient partnerships unique and different from contractor partnerships?
During this session, Lucy and Rachel will discuss these important areas related to subrecipient monitoring and navigating these muddy waters.
